Air conditioning and ventilation are significantly cheaper and easier to install in a new build than in a finished property. At first fix, refrigerant pipework can be concealed within walls and floors, ductwork can be routed through ceiling voids before boarding, and outdoor unit positions can be incorporated into the architectural design.
